How we invest
Straight answers. Simple terms. Real help.
What we look for
Four things we look for in every founder.
We are sector agnostic. These criteria matter more than the category you are in.
Founder–market fit
Deep, first-hand understanding of the customer and the problem — usually earned by living it.
Real customer pull
Early evidence that customers want the product: pilots, repeat orders, revenue, or a waitlist that converts.
Capital efficiency
A clear view of unit economics and the discipline to reach the next milestone without burning through cash.
Room to compound
A business that can keep growing for a decade, in a market large enough to matter.
The process
From first email to first cheque.
Share your pitch
Use our pitch form. A short deck and a clear one-liner are enough. A partner reads every submission personally.
First conversation
An hour with the founders — in person in Hyderabad or online. We want to understand the problem, the customer and why you.
Focused diligence
Customers, numbers, cap table and legal basics — sized to your stage. We share our questions upfront so nothing surprises you.
Term sheet and close
Clear, founder-friendly terms. The partners decide directly, so there is no committee to wait on.
Build together
Regular check-ins, introductions across our group, and help with every future raise — equity or debt.
Beyond the cheque
What founders get from us.
Capital structuring
Planning your next round, bank lines and working capital — from people who have syndicated debt and equity for years.
Group network
Introductions to customers, suppliers and distribution partners across our group’s businesses.
Governance setup
Clean books, compliance calendars and investor reporting that make the next investor’s diligence easy.
Technology and AI
Our in-house product and engineering experience, when you need a second opinion or a shortcut.
What stage do you invest at?
Pre-seed and seed — typically once there is a working product or prototype and early signs that customers want it. We occasionally back exceptional founders even earlier.
Do you lead rounds or co-invest?
Usually we invest alongside other angels and early-stage funds. On smaller rounds we can lead.
How long does a decision take?
The partners decide directly, so there is no committee cycle. Timing depends mainly on how quickly we can complete diligence together — typically [X] weeks from the first meeting.
Do you invest outside your listed sectors?
Yes. We are sector agnostic — the listed sectors are simply where our group adds the most beyond capital.
Do you manage money for outside investors?
No. CK Grow LLP invests from its partners’ capital only and does not raise or manage external funds.
What should I send in my pitch?
A short deck, a one-line description of what you do, the team, current traction, and how much you are raising and why. That is enough to start.
